Setting up Internet connection for Windows XP

AN IDIOT GUIDE TO SETUP YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION (For WinXP)
Of course 1st of all you'll need to create an account with the admin. Please come to the respective admin according to the day, bringing along with you 500 rubles and a pen.
1st step - Setting up Your Manual I.P.

• Click START-> CONNECT TO->SHOW ALL CONNECTION
• Right click “Local Area Connection”->PROPERTIES->Select “Internet Protocol TCP/IP”->Click “PROPERTIES”
• You will see a new window pops-up



Enter these DATA..

IP address : 192.168.3.XXX (where "xxx" is the number that you have choosen/given to)
Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: - leave it blank-
Preferred DNS server : 213.234.0.2
Alternate DNS server : 213.234.2.6


2nd Step- . Creating a connection to the server

• Click START-> CONNECT TO->SHOW ALL CONNECTION
• Click “File” - > New connection
• A wizard window will appear ->click next->choose “Connect to the network at my workplace”->choose “Virtual Private Connection”
• Type company name as “Internet”->”Do not dial initial connection”->put host name as “ 192.168.3.1”->click Finish
• A new icon name “internet” will appear.Double click, insert your name & password (from your account)

3rd step - Account Activation
Notify me about the IP no you have choosen to activate your accout. Include your name & IP and send SMS to +79197904360 / email to : helmi.volgo@gmail.com

4th Step - Connecting to the Internet
You’re ready to connect to the net!! Just ensure you have opened an account and still have a valid credit amount to online.
  • Click START -> Connect to -> Internet
  • Key in your username and password which you have registered with the admin
